Abstract Submission

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of a maximum of 400 words by March 25, 2018 through the Online Submission page of the Congress website. Abstracts can be written in English or French.

Abstracts should generally fall within the following themes:

  • People Diversity, City Diversity 
  • Urban Forest Diversity
  • Urban Forest Management: Diverse Challenges, Diverse Approaches 
  • Governance and Partnerships for Diverse Urban Forests
  • Natural Diversity in Our Urban Forests 
  • Diversity in Urban Forestry Education and Communication 
  • Integrative Perspectives on Diversity in Urban Forestry

Abstracts for presentations and posters can also be submitted for a conference track that integrates two or more of these themes. Under the integrative stream, ideas for small symposiums, sub-sessions and panel debates are also welcomed.


Important Dates:

  • Regular submission deadline: March 25, 2018
  • Acceptance notifications: April 30, 2018
  • Preliminary program on the website: April 30, 2018
  • Early Bird rate registration deadline: July 31, 2018

Notification of acceptance will be sent by April 30th, 2018. At least one author of an accepted abstract must register for the Congress in order to upload a final paper and to be invited to make a presentation in the technical program.
